Cultural reporter: Shahriar Sykat, Depara, Bagerhat, 16 february, 2013. A colorful cultural function was held on 14th February 2012 at B. H. D. College auditorium. On that day, whole the college building were worne a festive look. The college campus was also decorated with colorful festoon. The Chief guest was Md. Akram Hosen, the D.C of Bagerhat who started the function reciting related verse from the holy Quran. The principal of this college honoured the chair of the president. All the guest delivered valuable speech on the function. Then different participatent showed their performance. Some were singing songs, some also danced beautifuly. Whole the function was echoed (প্রতিধ্বনিত হয়েছিল) with clapping (করতালি). Ultimately a prize giving ceremony was held at the last of the function and the president of the function delivered a brief speech by closing the function.
